Named after the famous explorer of the Pacific Northwest, Jedediah Smith, this luxurious home has it all. Tucked behind the MacCallum Suites you will find complete relaxation and privacy in this fully restored farmhouse. The space is bright with expansive southern exposure, long views of the Big River forests and peeks of the ocean to the east. The home can accommodate up to 8 people with the master bedroom containing a king bed; the guest bedroom has two queen beds and a full sleeper in the living room. The open floor plan provides plenty of room for entertaining and spending time with friends and family. The kitchen is fully equipped for those who enjoy cooking and contains stainless appliances,and a dishwasher. For those who like to cook outdoors you will enjoy the deluxe stainless gas BBQ that includes a expansive grill, stove top, and oven. The luxurious bathroom features a jetted tub and a custom shower surrounded in Italian marble. Before bed enjoy a soak and then curl up in front of the fireplace and read a book or watch a movie on the 37Ó flat screen with full theater surround. All rooms include a stereo with iPod docks. A short stroll from this home will bring you to parks, beaches, restaurants, and shopping. This is Mendocino living at its very best.This rental has limited housekeeping services. Rate includes breakfast for two and can be added for additional guests for $20 per person. There is no additional charge for extra adults or children. House is not recommended for more than 4 adults or 6 guests total. $40 fee per night for pets.
All rooms at the MacCallum Suites include a gourmet breakfast served at the MacCallum House from 8:00 - 10:00 am Monday - Friday and 8:00 - 11:00 am Saturday, Sunday & Holidays. Also included: Food & Wine On The House - For each room two $7 dining credits are available every evening in the Grey Whale Bar & Café or the Dining Room on the Main Property. Enjoy towards dinner, desserts or for a house specialty cocktail or glass of premium local wine. 5:00 – 9:00 pm.*
